Immediately we knew we’d made the right decision - superb friendly service from all staff, the chef himself even brought out dishes when other members of the team were busy serving other customers.

Incredible food - we had the fish stew and meat soup, both highly recommended, although everything looked delicious. (Add black pepper to the stew, the owners recommendation was not wrong!)

All dishes are the same price and great value, cheap compared to most other places to eat in Iceland but no compromise on quality.

We wish we’d found this place sooner in our trip!

And the staff was absolutely sweet and welcoming. I recommend you to try this, you will understand what I mean after you've been there.

The lobster soup was expertly seasoned and the chicken noodle soup was filling and authentic. To top it all off, complimentary chocolate biscuits curbed my sweet tooth perfectly. They had a small range of dishes from fish and chips to traditional fish stew to chicken noodle soup all dishes only 1650isk... read more which was probably one of the cheapest meals we had while in Iceland. We got the fish and chips which was delicious. The nicely crumbed cod with light herbage was succulent and the chips were crisp and fresh. They also had all the sauces you could ever want like buffalo wing, sweet chilli sauce, nandos piri-piri and ketchup. They also had little containers full of chocccy appertizers. When we received the food we were also given a prince polo for dessert and told we could have free refills (not drink refills but food refills) free of charge. The lovely staff made this a place I wish I had discovered early.

This place was exactly what we were looking for. I had the Lobster Soup, which was truly one of the nicest things I've ever eaten. Tried my husband's Seafood Soup, which was also delicious, and both children had noodle soups, which looked amazing.
The staff couldn't have been nicer, they were friendly and welcoming and gave us a free chocolate bar at the end of our meal.
It wasn't cheap, 4 good sized portions of soup and 4 sodas was £50 (7900ISK), but it was worth the money...we left full and warm. And, it was definitely more reasonable than some of the other choices available. I would highly recommend!
